Willie (Bill) Junior Fools Obituary
Bill will be remembered by many not only as a U.S Navy Korean war veteran but as a retired law enforcement officer that proudly served the people of Muskogee County and surrounding communities for 24 years. Bill was known by all for his remarkable fairness and compassion to people, tremendous outpouring of love and dedication to his family and friends and his unselfish ability to make others laugh and smile even in the wake of life's challenges and the tragic losses of his closest of family.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of Porum, Oklahoma; two daughters; Debbie (Dave) Kuntz of Lewiston, Idaho and Cathy Valle of Reno, Nevada; one son, Don Fools of Warner, Oklahoma; three step-sons; James Potts of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Ricky Potts of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Richard Potts of Porum, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; Shirley Phennegar of Dallas, Texas and Carolyn Smith of Porum, Oklahoma , as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Lessie Fool, Wife; Erldene Fools, three sons; Billy, Mike and Danny Fools, and two brothers; Jack and Eddie Fool.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cross Church, 850 S. 2nd Street, Porum, Oklahoma.
Officiating will be Pastor Bobby Wright and Pastor Jimmy Catron.
Honorary Attendees: Chip Benton, Loyd Benton, J.C. Corbell, Dale Hyslop, Charles Pearson, Steven Wright, and David Barnett.
A Pot Luck fellowship on Fools Mountain for all family and friends proceeding services.
