Theresa Kay
Theresa "Teri" Kay O'Dell, 62, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. She was born on July 27, 1957 to James and Catherine Norton in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School with the class of 1975. Theresa worked for OG&E, Coburn Optical, and NFI Industries.
Teri loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. She loved playing games, enjoyed going to family reunions and most of all she adored cheering on her daughter and the boys. Teri loved to see people happy and there was always someone on her mind to care for. Her family recalls that she was the matriarch of the family. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Norton; grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her daughter, Kyla O'Dell Clay and husband Steve "Bub" Clay of Wagoner, OK; her grandsons (her boys), Alyk Shawn Keefe, and Brock Austin Clay both of Wagoner, OK; sister, Karen Norton of Muskogee, OK; brother, Dave Norton and wife Christy of Muskogee, OK; nephews, Jeremy Walker and wife Camille of Oklahoma City, OK, and Quinton Norton of Muskogee, OK; She is survived by many other adoring loved ones.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to Hilldale Crimson Vanguard Activity Account.
A celebration of Teri's life will be 10AM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Yarbrough officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve "Bub" Clay, Jeremy Walker, Alyk Keefe, Quinton Norton, Dave Norton, Brock Clay, Lance Moore, and Derek "Cornbread" Lasiter.
Kyla and family would like for all loved ones to join in the services at Ash Street Baptist Church for Teri's final family reunion.
