Shirley A. Surratt-Carter
Shirley Ann Surratt, a wonderful Mother, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Friend, "left us suddenly" on September 7, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Shirley was born on March 12, 1955 in Muskogee, Oklahoma from the union of Woodrow Surratt, Sr., and Theola Kathryn Surratt. She was a graduate of Porter High School, where she won the Ms. Peach Pageant in Porter, Oklahoma.

Shirley was employed with the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for 17 years. She immersed herself into her family and was a devoted mother and her entire family were the stars in her sky.

Shirley enjoyed traveling, clothes, concerts, cooking, the casino, big gatherings at home, but she loved the Lord the most!
Enough cannot be said about her goodness and she will be missed indescribably by her family, friends and all that knew her.

Shirley leaves in God's care; her Cub's, Trina Carter and Sheldon [Hailee] Surratt; her grandchildren; her brothers and sisters; Woodrow [Mary] Surratt, Jr., Herman [Keri] Surratt and Betty Surratt [Van]; her nieces and nephews; along with a caravan of other family members and friends.

A Service Celebrating her life will commence on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the most Holy sanctuary of Eastland Assembly of God, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Randy Dyer, Pastor, will officiate and Reverend Nelson Ross, Sr., Eulogist. Burial will follow in the Lincoln Cemetery in Porter, Oklahoma.

Because they loved her son........... A signature service by:
