Roy E. McGraw Jr.
Roy Edward McGraw, Jr., 68, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 15, 2020.

Roy, the son of Roy Edwards McGraw, Sr. and Scholley Jane McGraw was born January 1, 1952, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was raised in Okay, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Okay High School, with the class of 1970. Following high school, Roy attended Northeastern State University.

Roy was a kind soul, with a gentle heart; he was a best friend to many.

Roy spent most of his life working at the family business, known as McGraw Motors, which was situated under a neon sign on East Side Blvd. He started working there as a child washing cars for $1.00 per hour. The company was known in Muskogee by many as the "working man's friend," and Roy himself was a friend to all.

When Roy was not at work, he loved to be outdoors, whether working in the yard, grilling on his patio with his wife, playing golf with friends, feeding animals (both pets and wildlife), fishing with family, or chasing after his granddaughters.

Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. McGraw, Sr. Roy is survived by his wife, Rebecca McGraw, of the home; his mother, Scholley Jane McGraw; his brother, Jeff McGraw; his son, Rake; his daughter, Alison McGraw Miller and husband Christopher; granddaughters, Coco Cox, Lucy Cox, Kaylee McCoin and Klara McCoin; step-daughter, Christen McCoin; step-son, Clint Caldwell; nephew, Dustin McGraw and wife Jennifer; any many cousins, in-laws, and other family members.

Memorial service for Roy will be at the Presbyterian Church of Muskogee, on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 10a.m.

Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home, 1380 N York Street, Muskogee, OK. Condolences may be made to the family online at

We grew up together since childhood. Roy, Jeff and myself. They had a place on lake fort Gibson and we had a boat dock at ranger creek. In highschool my sister and I attended okay school. At that time we were in the old Rock school. Roy and I dated but we were just kids. However we always loved each other as friends as well as Jeff. He will be missed by many people. Great guy!
