Tulsa, Oklahoma - Robert Clark Gladd, known to many as Bob, was born on March 8, 1935, in Fort Gibson Oklahoma to Joseph and Irene (Brewer) Gladd. He passed away on May 12, 2026.

Bob graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1953. Following graduation, he attended Southeastern on a football scholarship and also attended Northeastern State University. He proudly served in the United States Army for three years and was stationed in Garmisch, Germany.

After his military service, Bob worked alongside his parents at the family grocery store. In 1962, he married Emma Lou Workman, and together they built a life centered around family and raised two daughters.

Bob later felt called into the ministry and faithfully pastored at Abundant Life for many years. He also worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for 17 years until his retirement in 2013.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers James and Donald Gladd and his wives Emma Lou (Workman)Gladd and Cindy (Murphy) Gladd, all of Fort Gibson.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Lucia Epps and husband Tim of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nicole Carey and husband Matt of Wasilla, Alaska. Grandchildren Courtney Phillips (Stephen), Lindsay Gray (Blake), Sydney Berg (Hayden), Madeline Maher (Kalvin), and Nate Carey; and three great-grandchildren, Leighton and Mason Gray, and Waylon Maher. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bob will be remembered for his faith and love of the Lord, his dedication to his family, a strong work ethic, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.

A memorial service will be held on June 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home - Muskogee, Oklahoma.
