Robert Ray Allison, 66, of Stigler, OK, went to live with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2016, with his family by his side.

He was born May 4, 1950, in Henryetta, OK, at the John Taylor Hospital, to Lee Roy (Bud) and La Dona (Dossie Hogan) Allison.

He attended Hitchita Public Schools until they moved the high school to Council Hill, OK where he graduated.

Robert married his high school sweetheart Linda Shatswell on April 4, 1969, and of this union they had two beautiful daughters, Robyn Renee and Heather Michelle. They were married for 43 years, until the Lord called Linda home.

Robert graduated from Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, OK.

Robert was 22 years old when he started to teach at Stigler Jr. High. He also drove a school bus and mowed the school lawn for several years. He taught there for 40 years until his retirement.

After the loss of his first wife, Linda, he met Pamela Ann Kusler. They were married July 24, 2013. With this marriage his family grew as he gained three stepsons; Nicholas Kusler and his wife, Amanda, Dustin Kusler, and Joshua Kusler.

Robert was very much a family man. He loved his family and was very proud of his two daughters. He attended all the functions that his daughters participated in.

If anything brought a smile to his face it was the presence of his grandchildren.

His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and watching sports, most of all watching his grandchildren play ball.

He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by family and friends, and the Stigler Community.

He is survived by; His wife, Pam Allison of the home; Two daughters: Robyn Sweeden and husband, Shawn, of Stigler, OK;

Heather Cook and husband, Ryan, of Stigler, OK;

One sister: Marie Wallace of Okay, OK; Step-mother: Ida Allison of Hitchita, OK; One step-sister: Becky Hopkins of Hitchita, OK;

One step-brother: Stephen Hopkins and wife, Cathy, of Norman, OK;

His mother-in-law and father-in-law: Opal and Donald Clay of Warner, OK; 6 Grandchildren: Colton Sweeden, Skylar Sweeden, Cobe Cook, Cambry Cook, Heath Kusler, and Kate Kusler.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and LaDona (Hogan) Allison; his first wife, Linda Allison; one sister, Diana Allison; and one step-sister, Katherine Danner.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Stigler High School Auditorium with Rev. Mike Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.

Pallbearers will be; Ryan Cook, Shawn Sweeden, Colton Sweeden, Cobe Cook, Randy Mouser, Jim Biles.

Honorary Pallbearers will be; Bob Cariker, David Shaw, Nicholas Kusler, Dustin Kusler, Joshua Kusler.
