Memorial services for Richard Alvin Storts Jr. of Park Hill, Oklahoma are 11:00 am, Friday May 11, 2018, at Green Country Funeral Home. Richard was born in Oklahoma City on July 20, 1955. He was 62 when he passed away with his children at his bedside. He was the son of Dr. Richard A Storts Sr. and Shirley Irene Storts-Fite who preceded in him death. Richard was married to Debbie Davis and together the brought forth daughter Sarah. His second wife was Jackie Crowell and together they brought forth Rick. Richard spent most of his life in Oklahoma but was fortunate to have traveled to many places including Japan, Alaska, Mexico, Belize, and just about anywhere the fish were biting. He was a true sportsman, and his fishing and hunting stories were all WHOPPERS. His stories of floating down the Buffalo River was one of his all-time favorites to expand upon. He truly loved the outdoors and instilled this passion in both of his kids. He graduated Muskogee High School class of 1973. He attended the University of Oklahoma in 1974 where he majored in FUN. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State Univewrsity with a BS in business. Richard had a keen sense of conversation that kept his friends, family and acquaintances fascinated. In addition to his love of all things outdoors Richard was an avid OU fan. He loved music, especially the Beatles, reading, and he was quite the chef. Richard leaves behind his children, Sarah Morgan and her husband Duane, and son Richard C.D. Storts (Rick); two sisters, Cheryl Robinson and husband Kurt and Linda Smith and her husband Scott; three grandchildren, Kyla, Kaitlyn and Kayla Morgan; as well as many other friends and loved ones.
