Lillie Jane (Killingsworth) Thomas, 73, passed away on Monday October 16th in Fort Worth, Texas. Lillie was born to Bryan and Naomi Riley Killingsworth, on September 17, 1944 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She retired from Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation from Fountainhead Lodge Resort on Lake Eufaula. Lillie was a member of Checotah First Assembly of God and she enjoyed being with family, watching sports, and reading. Her granddaughter, Shanda Raychelle, was the joy of her life. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents; two little brothers; and her late husband, Delton "Tom" Thomas. She is survived by her son, Danny Ray Campbell of Godley,TX; one granddaughter, Shanda Raychelle Campbell of Fort Worth, TX; 3 daughters, Kay Miles of Tyler,TX, Sue Goines of Memphis, TN, and Judy Duncan of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 grandsons Russell, Lonnie, David, and John D; 2 more granddaughters Shana and Robyn Sue; 4 great grandsons Ben, David, Carson, and Brayden; 3 great granddaughters Megan, Sahara, and Zoe Layne; one sister, Juanita (Hugh) Zimmerman of Broken Arrow, OK; 5 brothers, Bill (Trish) of Tulsa, OK, John (Lynda) of Chandler, OK, Thomas (Debbie) of Panama City, FL, Andy (Denise) and Bonnie (Paula) Killingsworth of Checotah, OK; along with several nieces and nephews. A celebration of the life of Lillie Thomason will be on Friday October 20th at 1:00 pm in the Checotah Funeral Service Chapel with Robert Frost officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Checotah Funeral and Cremation Services. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
