Funeral services for Katrina Berdise (Maxwell) Dyer of Webbers Falls, OK will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday August 2, at First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, Ok with Rev. Jason Ravan officiating. Viewing will be from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday August 2, 2016. In Lieu of Flowers please send donations to First Baptist Church in Webbers Falls, OK.Burial will be at National Cemetery Ft. Gibson, OK.

Katrina was born on July 17, 1924 in Tucker OK the daughter Rye and Edith Maxwell.

The family moved to Webbers Falls, when Berdise was a young girl and she remained here the rest of her life. Berdise rose peacefully to heaven on July 29, 2016 in Muskogee, Ok.

Berdise was married to Robert Lee Pratt and they were blessed with one son Gary Lee Pratt. Berdise later married Forrest Dyer and they were married 63 years until his death in 2012.

Berdise was always busy on the farm and working in the community and her church, where she was famous for her chicken and dumplings and pecan pies, and active in the VFW Auxiliary. She loved everyone she met and always had a ready smile and a big hug to greet you.

She will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her. There were no strangers in her life only friends. She was yet to meet a stranger.

Berdise is survived by her son Gary and wife Sharon Pratt of Enid, OK. Four granddaughters; Tania Summers of Plantation, FL., Tana Canning and husband Joe of Ft. Worth, TX., Tara Wilson and husband Greg of Enid, OK. Lori Maxwell and husband Doug of Enid, OK. One grandson Ed Paulsen of OKC, OK. Seven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren and many special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Berdise was preceded in death by her parents, Rye and Edith. Husband Forrest one sister Trevan Hamilton and brothers Jim Maxwell and Bob Maxwell.
