Jeremy Robert Matthews, 28, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on January 16, 1991 to Millie Yaffe and Jerry Matthews in Muskogee, Oklahoma where he was raised.

Jeremy was known for always having a smile on his face. He was a very hard working family man who excelled quickly in his three year career as an industrial electrician. He loved fiercely and spoiled his family, no one ever got the last word in with him.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doyle, Sr. and Georgia Matthews; maternal grandfather, Robert Yaffe; maternal grandmother, Fanne Lu Yaffe; uncle, William N. Matthews and aunt, Marie Meeks.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie Matthews and nephew, James, of the home; son, Jagyn Matthews of Wayne, OK; mother, Millie Yaffe of Muskogee; father Jerry Matthews and Nadine Matthews of Park Hill, OK; sisters, Crystal Matthews,Courtney Anstaett and husband ,Dustin, Whitney Ousley and husband, Cameron, Mariah Bess and husband, Steven; Lisa Jackson and husband, Desmond, and Julianna Lopez and husband, Jose; brothers, Jarrod Matthews, Michael Johnson, Garrett Leebrick, Billy (Jr.) Leebrick and wife, Dynasty of Muskogee and Noah Matthews; brothers-in-law, Cecil Rhoden III and Johnny Tucker; mother and father-in-law, Cecil and Libby Rhoden; five nieces and 13 nephews and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at New Community Church. Interment will follow in McLain Cemetery.
