Iva Jean Swan passed away Friday evening, October 6, 2017, in her home in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She was born August 12, 1940 in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma to Willie and Lillie (Landrum) Farrow. She married Freddie Swan May of 1989 in Miami, Oklahoma. Iva enjoyed going to garage sales and was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Dorothy Sprague and her son, Albert Dwayne Wood.

She was a loving wife and mother and is survived by her husband, Freddie Swan of the home in Wagoner; her children, Penny Edwards of Tahlequah, Polly Epp of Muskogee, Patty Edwards of Tahlequah, Peggy Johnson of Keys and Jerry Wood and his wife, Lynn, of Kansas City, Missouri area; step-daughter, Lorena Walling and husband, Ken, of Sapulpa; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sister, Christine Boswell and husband, Gerald, of Muskogee.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October. 12, 2017 in the Citizen Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma with Chaplain John Lewis officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.
