Ina Mae Miller was born November 27, 1932 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Roe and Tete Madalyn (Denton) Glenn. She passed away Monday afternoon, April 4, 2016 in her home in Okay with her family by her side.
Ina attended school in Webbers Fall before moving to Okay where she raised her family. Ina worked in retail for fifty years, starting with Hoover's Grocery. She then worked for Hunt's Department Store, Kirk's Drug and worked twenty-four years for J. C. Penney's retiring in 2013.
She was a member of the Okay First Baptist Church. She enjoyed going out to eat with her friends from J. C. Penney. She loved to read, play bingo and sit on her front porch. Most of all she loved her family especially her grandsons, Jace and Wyatt, whom she referred to as the men in her life.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents, Roe and Tete Glenn, her husband, Frankie Miller; her siblings, Roe Glenn, Jr., Emma Sue Miles, Tommy Glenn and great nephew, Jonathan Saiymeh.
Ina is survived by her daughter, Connie Martin and her husband, Doug, of Okay; her granddaughter, Ronda Heavener and her husband, Terry, of Ft. Gibson; her grandson, Ronnie Glenn Pearce, Jr. of Broken Arrow; her great grandsons, whom she referred to as "the men in her life", Jace and Wyatt Heavener of Ft. Gibson; her niece, Anita Saiymeh and, husband, Sammy, of Tulsa; nephew, George Glenn and wife, Debbie, of Tulsa; great niece, Ayschia Kuykendall and husband, Jeff; great Nephew, Ramsey Saiymeh; great great niece, Juniper Mae Kuykendall; her extended family who she thought of as her own: brother-in-law, Leon Miller and wife Peggy, brother-in-law, Jerry Miller and wife Danna, sister-in-law, Cinda Wilkey and husband James, sister-in-law, Leona Wilson and husband Gene and many nieces, nephews and great friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday April 7, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Okay with the Rev. Donnie Echols officiating.
Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.
Arrangements and services are under the direction of Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home.
