Drew Edward Gibson, 27, of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015. He was born November 22, 1988 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Kevin Lee Gibson and Robin Ann Hurst Gibson. He attended Muskogee public schools and was self-employed in the construction business. Drew was active in a variety of sports and hobbies. He enjoyed playing t-ball with the Club Pirates, doing karate, playing football on the Paul Young 8 & under team, riding bikes at Civitan Park with his family and friends, hunting with Uncle Ryan, fishing with his family, riding his motorcycle with his Dad and friends. He attended Eastern Heights Baptist Church and St. Paul United Methodist Church as well as visiting other churches with his friends. Drew was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Gibson; great grandparents, Wesley and Vivian Small and Robert and Ruth Hurst; and other loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Robin Gibson and stepfather, Jacob of Oktaha, OK; brother, Daniel Jolliff and wife Andrea of Lewiston, ID; sister, Samantha Jolliff of Clarkston, WA; stepbrothers, Dylan Wright of Siloam Springs, AR, and Chance Gibson of Oktaha, OK; step sisters, Autumn Wright of Siloam Springs, AR, and Brooklynne Gibson of Oktaha, OK; paternal grandmother, Lynn Mitchell of Ft Gibson, OK; maternal grandfather, Robert Hurst of Ft Gibson, OK; maternal grandmother, Pat Azhari of Muskogee, OK; step grandparents, Harley and Valenda Huggins of Warner, OK; aunts and uncles, Vivian Renee Lamb and husband Donnie, Wesley Hurst, Robert Hurst Jr, Ryan Hurst and wife Amber, David (Dusty) Campbell and wife Betty; nieces, Lillie Lee Jolliff, Lila Jane Jolliff, Tara Elizabeth Tarlton; nephew, Aiden Lee Tarlton; cousins, Alex Ellis and husband Logan, and Robert Spencer; other family members and friends that will miss him greatly. Funeral services celebrating Drew’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Bebee officiating.
