Donald J. (Jim) McMahon, Jr., 92, passed away on August 28, 2019. He was born November 18, 1926, to Donald J. Sr. and Marguerite McMahon in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas and served in the Marine Corps during WWII.

He graduated from OSU (then Oklahoma A & M) in 1951. A few years later while working in Denver he met his future wife, Jeri Maxson at a ski area. Later on they moved to Santa Barbara, California where they lived, raising their three children, until moving to Fort Gibson in 1980.

Jim was a small business owner in Muskogee, Oklahoma until his retirement. He loved fly fishing, duck hunting, the St. Louis Cardinals , and was a true OSU fan, not missing a home football game in over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his wife Jeri of 51years. He is survived by two sons, Sean and wife Valerie of Warren, Oregon and Donald III and wife Kelly of Lake Oswego, Oregon; daughter, Shannon and husband Mark Andregg of Mounds, Oklahoma and three grandsons who reside with their parents.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
