Donald Leon Brandon, age 68, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at WW Hastings Indian Hospital in Tahlequah, OK. He was born on November 27, 1952 in Muskogee, OK to Jim Brandon and Marie Brandon (Kaiser). Donald attended Helmer Elementary School, West Jr High School and graduated from Muskogee Central High School in 1972.

On August 13, 1971, he married the love of his life Annette J. Brandon (Bennight), and they celebrated 50 years of marriage together. An addition of their son Kelley completed their immediate family until they were blessed with a daughter in law and 2 wonderful grandchildren.

Donald worked as an Equipment Operator for 35 Plus Years most recently at Davis H Elliot where he retired. He was a member of the NRA, as well as served as a member of the Tullahassee Fire Dept in years past. He enjoyed farming and baling hay.

He was the youngest child of the Brandon Family and was preceded in death by his parents; Jim and Marie Brandon along with his brother Darrell Brandon, his sister Margaret Sue James and brother in law Randy Bennight.

Donald leaves behind his wife, Annette of the home son, Kelley Brandon and wife Christy of Porter, Sister Juanita (Cookie) Brandon of Muskogee OK, Sister Carolyn Jones and husband Darrell of Porter OK Brother In Law Carl James of Muskogee OK, Mother in Law Peggy Bennight of Porter, Sister In Law Joyce Bennight of Webber Falls, Grandson Hunter Brandon and Fiance Mariah Marshall; of Porter OK, Granddaughter Brittany Brandon of Porter OK; a host of nieces and nephews along with many other family members & friends.

Donald's service celebrating his life is scheduled to be held at Porter First Baptist Church on September 11th, 2021 at 10 a.m with Pastor Vance Wiley officiating followed by a small memorial service at Donald's home.
