David Lewis Wiedel
David Lewis Wiedel, 82, of Eufaula, passed away on May 22, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. David was born on July 7, 1936 in Hebran, NE to Alvin Edwin and Elizabeth Margaret (Sponsel) Wiedel. David attended St. Joe's school until the 10th grade. On November 26, 1960 in Red Bluff, CA. David was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Eufaula. He had a strong love for God and his church. David was a horse trainer and a rancher all of his life. David also worked cows, broke horses, was a logger, wild hog hunted, and did custom hay bailing. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards, and attending family gatherings. David was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Cattleman's association.
Survivors include: his wife, Rosalie Wiedel, of the home; sons, Andrew Wiedel and wife Jamie, of Beggs, OK, and Zachary Wiedel and wife Donna, of Eufaula, OK daughters, Veronica Griggs, of Jones, OK, Lisa Wiedel, of Beggs, OK, and Elizabeth Moran and husband John Glen, of Muskogee; brother, Tom Wiedel, of Corning, CA; and a sister, Rebecca Rogers, of Muskogee, OK; seventeen grandchildren ; and sixteen great grandchildren.
