DD was my good friend at Pershing Elementary from 4th through 6th grade in the late 1950's. We lived fairly close and played football at "the Green Field" down from DD's house. We also played little league baseball together. When coaches decided I should be placed on the "B" team in 6th grade (instead of the "A" team that got full uniforms) DD lobbied hard on my behalf (unsuccessfully) to overturn this grave injustice. Maybe this was a foreshadowing of his fine legal career. I think of his loyal friendship to me as a weak-hitting 11 year-old with much gratitude. Condolences to all of DD's family and friends.

D.D. represented me twice over the years. Once we won and the last time the case died before it got started. He has been been a friend since 1978. I'm sure the Lord welcomed him into Heaven because he was a good man.
