Ruth F. Ogden 92, of Wainwright went home to be with her Lord on Friday November 18, 2016 in Muskogee. She was born on August 15, 1924 in Oktaha, the daughter of Floyd and Helen (Graham) Pippin.
Ruth worked at several jobs, but her family was always her top priority.
She was very talented and would tackle about and task. She was active in her church work at the First Assembly of God in Wainwright. She taught, served as Sunday school secretary and whatever was needed. She enjoyed sewing, cooking reading and serving her family. Her unselfish life, her love of her savior, her many acts of love will be honored and remembered in a memorial service on Monday November 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God in Wainwright. The Reverend Clarence Guthrie and Reverend David Bright will be officiating.
She is survived by her children: Edith Guthrie of Stigler, John ad JoAnn Ogden and Jim and Debbie Ogden both of Wainwright. Sister Mary and Harold Guthrie of Wainwright; Brother Roger and Sondra Pippin of Eufaula, sister-in-law Bernice Pippin of Muskogee. 11 grand children, 21 great grandchildren, 8, great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 71 years B. L. Ogden; daughter Sandra Smalley, son-in-law Reverend Leo Guthrie and daughter-i-law Carolyn Ogden, granddaughters Amy and Stephanie Ogden and Maddison Ogden, her parents and 2 sisters Helen Duval and Nina Pippin and brother Bill Pippin, many nieces and Nephews and dear friends. Serving as pallbearers are Brett Guthrie, Monty Guthrie, Keith Ogden Robert Ogden Dustin Ogden and Brandon Smalley.
The family will greet friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
