Lee R. "Paw Paw" Hull, 93, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was born May, 17, 1923 to Joe and Elizabeth (Dodson) Hull in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Lee married the love of his life, Mary M. Craft on August 5, 1942 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They shared many happy years of life and marriage together.
Lee served in the United States Army from February 1, 1943 - May 12, 1946 during WWII and received an honorable discharge.
Lee worked as a Supervisor of Central Garage for the City of Muskogee for several years until his retirement. He was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and loved serving the Lord. Lee was a race car driver at Muskogee Speedway for many years and after retirement he loved traveling to watch NASCAR races. All of Lee's family will remember him as a lovingly dad, brother, and Paw Paw and will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; and his 6 siblings.
Lee is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Brenda Hull of Muskogee, OK; his brother, Joe Hull and wife Lorene of Muskogee, OK; sister, Virginia Catmull of Muskogee, OK; grandsons, Jeff Hull and wife Lisa of Lindsay, OK, and Rowdy Hull and wife Tammy of Muskogee, OK; great grandchildren, Karli Hull of Muskogee, OK, Lauren, Faith, and Dallas Hull of Lindsay, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Lee's life will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 31, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adrian Totty officiating. Interment will follow 12:00 P.M. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with military honors presented. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hull, Rick Hull, Randy Judkins, George Early, Bill Perry, and Chuck Bumgarner. Honorary pallbearer will be Rowdy Hull.
