Funeral service for Deloris Gassaway, 64, of Hulbert will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 11th at the First Baptist Church, Hulbert. Officiating will be Bobby Botts. Serving as Pall Bearers are Corkey Collier, Neal Moore, Randy Gassaway, Ronnie Moore, Shannon Moore, and Zachary Moore. Honorary Pall Bearers are Micheal Blendowski, and Mathew Compton. Interment will follow in the Hulbert Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 Monday at Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. Deloris was born Dec. 20, 1952, the daughter of Ed and Lydia (Estes) Patterson in Muskogee, OK. She died at her residence in Hulbert on July 7, 2017.
Deloris was raised in Wagoner where she attended school. She had worked at Corning Glass for 17 years, then at Waterloo in Muskogee. Deloris worked for the Cherokee County Commissioners Dist II at the Transfer Station before retiring.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Ronnie, and brothers Charles Patterson, Marvin Patterson, and Darrel Patterson.
Surviving her are children Lenia Moore of Fort Gibson, Douglas and Dori Phillips of Muskogee, Thomas and Misty Compton of Catoosa, Ricky Gassaway of Hulbert, Debbie and Jay Shepherd of Fort Gibson, and Randy and Lisa Gassaway of Tahlequah; grand children Breanna, Kira, Zachary, Kayleigh, Madison, Maddy, Michael, Mathew, Jana, Jace, Paige, Janey, Robert, Latosha, JR; two great grandsons; brother and sisters Frankie and Leon Moore, Floyd and Barbara Patterson, and Eddie Faulk; as well as as host of relatives, friends and loved ones.
