Bonnie's Story

Bonnie R. Jackson, 87, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered Heaven's gates on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born March 1, 1930 to Orville and Ocie Satterfield in Braggs, Oklahoma. She attended Braggs public school. Bonnie married the love of her life, Gale L. Jackson in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and they spent many happy years of marriage together.
She worked as a Lab Technician for Funsten Nut Co. and later worked for Whitlock Packaging Co. until her retirement in 1992. Bonnie attended Westside Church of Christ in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing and loved cooking for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale L. Jackson; parents, Orville and Ocie Satterfield; brothers, Leon and Gerald Satterfield.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Terry Jackson (Debbie) of Muskogee, Curtis Jackson (Linda) of Fort Gibson, Wesley Jackson and Colleen Bowman of Paris, Arkansas; grandsons, Greg Jackson (Charla), Jeremy Jackson; granddaughters, Kelly Brown (Gene), Deanne Randolph (Charlie), Mindy McFarland (Michael); great grandsons, Austin Jackson, Justin Brown, and Tyler McFarland, and Charlie Randolph III; great granddaughters, Paige and Payton Jackson, Kelci, Harley, and Joslyn McFarland; and brother, Jerry Satterfield of Ft. Gibson.
The family requests memorials can be made to Westside Church of Christ in Bonnie's honor at: 2434 Okmulgee St Muskogee, OK 74401.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Westside Church of Christ with Minister Don Readhimer officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Greg Jackson, Charlie Randolph II, Jeremy Jackson, Ken Hutson, Gene Brown and Robert Marshal serving as pallbearers.
