Virginia Lee Frazier


Virginia Lee Frazier, 94, entered her eternal reward on August 9, 2019 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born May 6, 1925 in Dewar, Oklahoma to Marshall T. and Alma (Burton) Hobbs.

She had a large family and enjoyed being with them. Virginia was a person who loved to be on the go and involved with many social activities with her family and friends. She loved to shop and was a long time, faithful member of First Baptist Church in Muskogee. She was an active member of the Life Matters Sunday School Class. Virginia worked as a bookkeeper for Nelson's Furniture for many years.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Frazier; her parents, Marshall and Alma Hobbs; daughter, Patty Ann Dunegan; son, Ronald Lee Frazier; son-in-law, Ronald Dunegan; brother, Jack K. Hobbs; and granddaughter, Annie Ray Sweet. She is survived by children, Delores Watkins, Tommy Joe Frazier and wife Darlene, Larry Ray Frazier and wife Denise, Carolyn Joy Shoemake and husband Jim, and Vicki Lynn Sweet and husband Steve; daughter-in-law, Freda Ellis Frazier; sister-in-law, Dessie Eller Hobbs; and cousins, John and Mary Kirk. Virginia had 20 grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, August 14, 2019. A funeral service celebrating her life will be 10:00 am, Thursday, August 15, 2019 in the Bradley Belltower Chapel. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

So sorry to hear my prayers are with the family Virginia was a wonderful woman and a friend of mine we spent many a fun time at her and Rays home as well as the great times at church she will be missed but she is rejoicing in heaven
