Tell Austin Henrichs, Jr., 86, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Muskogee, OK, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Oklahoma City. Tell was born February 2, 1930 in Iola, KS, the son of Tell Austin Henrichs, SR, and Harriett (Vosburgh) Henrichs.
Tell proudly served his country in the U. S. Marines from 1948 to 1950 and served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1953 during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, Tell worked as a design draftsman.
Survivors include his children, Cody Tellene Henrichs of El Paso, TX, Lezlie J. Mast and husband, Jeff, of Big Bay, Michigan, Kris Henrichs of Oklahoma City, Anne Henrichs of California, Kimberly Harris and husband, Tim, of Cookson, OK, Kevin Haws and wife, Bobbie, of Muskogee; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; brother, R. J. Henrichs of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Ruth Owens of Phoenix, AZ, Jeanne Land of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents; and two sons, Kurt and Kyle Henrichs.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
