Tammy (Harrold) Delmedico, 56, was born on May 15,1961 in Tahlequah, OK, to Wayne and Nancy Harrold. She passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017. ?
A native of Fort Gibson, Tammy graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1979 and attended Northeastern State University. Tammy received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and Health, and began teaching in 1986. She taught for 30 years, the majority of that time at Fort Gibson as an 8th grade science teacher. She retired in 2016. On April 28, 2000, she married Jeff Delmedico. They enjoyed many hobbies together, including gardening, traveling, going junkin', and spending time with family and friends.?
Tammy spent many years of her life on the softball field - playing in both coed and women's leagues. "Coach D" took her knowledge and experience from the game to the softball field at Fort Gibson High School where she coached for 20 years. ?
Tammy has been a light in the lives of many of her students and players and has mentored many others in the community of Fort Gibson. She was a faithful member of Fellowship Bible Church and always strived to be kind and loving to others. ?
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Wayne. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Harrold; brother, Dale Harrold [wife Dianne]; husband, Jeff; four children, Jace [wife Amanda], Dane [fiancé Natalie], Jayne [husband Zach and daughter Laurel] and Andi [husband Chad and son Heston]; and numerous other family members and countless friends. ?
Tammy exuded kindness, joyfulness, strength and courage. She lived by Matthew 5:16: "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

A memorial celebration will be held on Tuesday, September 5th, at 6 p.m. at the Fort Gibson High School Auditorium with Pastors Billy Parker and Bob Dewoody officiating.??
