Stanley Dean Nail, 67, of Muskogee, OK, was born October 9, 1949 at Muskogee, OK, the son of James Frank Nail Sr. and Birdie Lee (Brashears) Nail and died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home in Muskogee.
Stanley was a lifelong resident of the area. He married Mary Jo Holt and together they raised two children. Prior to retirement, Stanley was a route driver for Henderson Coffee for 25 years. He loved fishing, deer hunting, and racing. Stanley was a member of the Cruising Angels Car Club and lead guitarist in his band.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; daughter, LeAnn Battenfield and husband, Justin; son, Tony Nail and wife, Bambi; grandchildren, Devin Coil and wife Shaya, Nicholas Nail, Cody Nail, Austin Nail, Justin Nail, Dakota Nail, Tori and William Battenfield; great-grandson, Lakota Coil and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Wanda; and other family members.
Services for Stanley will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Agnew Cemetery in Keefeton, OK. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Clark, Justin Battenfield, Joe Melton, Kevin Mansfield, Cody Nail, and Austin Nail. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
