Staci Lyn Keasling, 48, of Muskogee passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She was born September 17, 1969 to James N. and Emily Rose (Mehelich) Keasling in Muskogee. She grew up and attended Muskogee Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1987. Furthering her education, Staci attended Connors State College until 1989.
Her family recalls her passion for anything "art". She loved designing and painting pictures and signs. She used this talent working at The Castle, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She also worked previously with Advanced Warnings and Veterans Administration Regional Office. Staci was a member at First Baptist Church of Muskogee.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucile (Vaught) and Andrew H. Thomas, and George Madison and Ona May Keasling.
Staci is survived by her parents, James and Emily Keasling of Muskogee; her son, Alek James Clark of Tulsa; her daughter, Avery Madison Clark of Muskogee; her former partner, Robert O. Clark of Muskogee; aunt, Joyce (Keasling) Whealy and husband Perry of Bakersfield, CA; great aunt, Betty Vaught of Richmond, VA; numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Staci's life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 with Dr. Johnny Derouen officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be her high school friends Kelly Moore, Angie Hood, Gina Curtsinger, Katrina Ferrell, Cheryl Gard and Scott Daniels.
The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Muskogee or their favorite charity in Staci's honor.
