Samuel Avery Barnes, 35, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was escorted into his colorful heavenly life on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Sammy was born on September 14, 1981 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Roy and Kim Barnes.
He grew up in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma but his love for travel allowed him to see and experience many parts of the world. Sam was a happy, loving, free spirit. His love for his family and friends was unmistakable. His relationships and music were truly what he cherished most. Sam's passion for music came from the very depths of his soul. He unquestionably put his whole heart into every note.
Sam is survived by his mother and father, Roy and Kim Barnes of Webbers Falls, OK; his sister, Genevieve Rachal and husband James of St. Petersburg, FL; and grandmother, Pamela Miller of Webbers Falls, OK; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loving friends. His laughter, giant hugs, and unconditional love will never be forgotten.
A memorial celebrating Sam's life will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Barnes family residence under the shade trees where he played as a child.
A memorial service will also be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 417 N. Main Street Tulsa, OK for those wishing to honor Sammy.
