Patricia Ann Billingsley Reed was born on November 19, 1951. Tricia, as she was affectionately called, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She began her formal education at Carter G. Woodson High School in Tullahassee, Oklahoma. While there she excelled in her studies graduating valedictorian on the class of 1969. She continued her education at Connors State College and Northeastern State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with minors in Psychology and Business Administration.
In June 1970, Patricia met the love of her life, Herman Reed, the man who was to be her husband for forty-four yearts. Together they raised two daughters, Stephanie and Shana and help raise two grandchildren, Brandon and Ashley, whom they considered their own.
Patricia was a homemaker who wore many different hats. She was an IRS tax consultant and held many certifications in the medical field. She was creative, loved to write poetry. Tricia could also be seen in the movie Tuskegee Airmen, looking poised and beautiful.
Patricia accepted Jesus into her life at an early age and has maintained her faith. She was an active member in church serving in many different capacities. She instilled in her children to love and trust in the Lord.
After the death of her beloved Herman, she shut down for a while but God gave her strength to go on. She united with Antioch Church of Muskogee, under Rev. Marlon Coleman. She loved her pastor and her church family.
