Minnie L. Testerman, 85, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was born June 18, 1932 in Norwood, Oklahoma to Perry Jenkins and Beulah Mae (Smith) Jenkins. She attended Norwood Public School through 8th grade and later obtained her GED.
She married the love of her life, Victor Edwin Testerman, on December 09, 1950 in Clayton, NM. They shared many happy years of life and marriage together.
Minnie worked at Glen's Grill in Wagoner and Oktaha Public Schools. She was a longtime member of the Muskogee Swingers Square Dance Club where she held the title of President for several years. Most important to her was spending time with her family and being a homemaker as she loved cooking for her family and friends.
Minnie was of the Freewill Baptist faith but attended Oktaha Trinity Baptist Church.
She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband, Victor; daughter, Regena Newton; son, Ricky; grandson, Bryan; brother, Clyde; sisters, Dorothy and Iva.
Minnie is survived by her daughter, Vickie Alleman and husband Robert; son-in-law, Mike Newton and wife Janice; stepdaughters, Libby Morrow and husband Gary, Connie Thompson and husband Kenny; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.
Funeral services celebrating Minnie's life will be 2PM, Friday, February 9, 2018 at Oktaha Trinity Baptist Church with Chaplain Phil Pack officiating. Interment will be at Oktaha Cemetery with Keith Hutson, Cole Hutson, Kaycee Alleman, Kenny Hutson, Kyler Sweat, and Jimmy Dean Dishman serving as pallbearers.
