Mildred's Story

Mildred was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed away in Tomball, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Harrison, her father and mother, Rufus and Ethel Ross of Stilwell and two brothers and five sisters. Mildred is survived by her son, Glenn Harrison and daughter-in-law Patty, of Spring, Texas, granddaughter Jane Ann Scalf and her husband Jamie, great-grandson Luke Scalf and great granddaughter Lyla Scalf, all of Montgomery, Texas, nephews Frank R. Wilson and his wife Phyllis of Anchorage, Alaska, and Billy Mack Uhner and his wife Lynda of Valley Falls, Kansas and nieces Donna Weeks and husband Rick and Linda Weeks Dathe all of Palm Springs, California.
Mildred was a retired beautician who owned and operated the Ridgecrest Beauty Shop in Muskogee for thirty years and was a Muskogee resident for sixty-eight years. She was a faithful and very active member of the Chandler Road Church of Christ from its inception. She enjoyed cooking, playing games, entertaining friends, and on rare occasions, catching a fish or two. Above everything Mildred was a faithful friend, willing caregiver, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loves her Lord and Savior.
A memorial service for Mildred is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at the Chandler Road Church of Christ, 3507 Chandler Road, Muskogee, Oklahoma
