Martha Jo's Story
Martha Jo Maple Malouf, born October 5, 1926 in Bartlesville, OK, daughter of Henrietta Beavert and Willard Merle Maple of Tahlequah, OK; passed away Monday, August 7th, 2017 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was 90 years old. In her last few weeks, she fought hard with a weakened heart, anemia, and failing kidneys. She died peacefully in her sleep.
Mom left this world with the legacy of unbridled love for her family. As a lifetime homemaker; she was a foundation, a pillar and a confidant, not only for her immediate family, but also for her extended family. As Mom, Sito, Aunt Jo, or cousin Jo, her love remains a permanent fixture in our hearts to be passed on to the next generation.
Martha is survived by her husband Bedder John "Buddy" Malouf of Dallas, TX; her son Marc Malouf and his wife Elizabeth Malouf of Carrollton, TX; her three grandsons Michael Fitch of OK City, OK; Alex Fitch of OK City, OK; Jonathan Malouf of Carrollton, TX; and great granddaughter Carter Fitch of OK City, OK. She is also survived by the Hulbert families, the Calcote families, the George families and the Fitch families.
Graveside services will be held at the cemetery in Hulbert, OK, Friday August 25th at 1:00PM, provided by Reed & Culver Funeral Home, Tahlequah, OK.
I like the thought that Mom has journeyed from this world to be with my sister, Leah Michelle Malouf Fitch. Together, they will make a formidable team, and together they will ensure heaven is the most worthy destination for all of us.
