Mark Dwain Dillon, 67, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Hillcrest South in Broken Arrow, OK. He was born August 10, 1950 in Warner, OK to Floyd and Marbie (Wyatt) Dillon.
He grew up in the Brewers Bend area working on the farm. Attending a small school and then transferring to Warner and graduating from there in 1968. After high school he attended Connor State College for 2 years. Then joined the National Guard where he served for 6 years. He achieved the rank of sergeant. In 1978 Mark went to work at OG&E. He was a shift coordinator at the power plant in Muskogee operation for 28 years.
Mark married Terry Patrick in 2001 in Muskogee, Ok. They were happily married for 26 years. Mark enjoyed traveling with his family, cooking, shooting and watching OU football with his wife.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Marbie Dillon; sisters, Lillie Smith, Loretta Benson, Diana Dillon; brothers, Charlie (C.F.) Dillon, Gail Dillon, Jim Benson and father in law Gary Patrick.
Mark is survived by his wife Terry Patrick Dillon of the home; son, Jay Suggs and wife Kelsey of Norman, OK; brother, Ford Dillon Sr. and wife Janice of Warner, OK; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel Fort Gibson, OK with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating.
