Margaret Fern Foutch was born on Sept. 2, 1938 in Haskell, OK to Dallas Cheatham and Elma (Graves) Cheatham. She passed from this life on Jan. 27, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79 years, 4 months & 25 days.
Fern had lived in the Haskell community virtually all of her life. She received her Associates Degree from Connors State College. While she is warmly remembered as a loving and devoted homemaker, she also worked at various jobs throughout her life and was a beloved volunteer in the Haskell schools as a part of the "Granny program". She worshipped as a member of the Haskell First Assembly of God Church. While she was always devoted to her family, she took her love to another level when she was involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by all who had the privilege to know her and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Herman Lee Foutch, 2 brothers; Bobby & Sherman Cheatham and 1 sister; Virginia Lee Cheatham.
She is survived by 2 sons; Steve Foutch and spouse Neal, of Haskell & Keith Foutch and wife Terry, of Muskogee, 2 sisters; Carolyn Foster and husband Mike, of Tahlequah & Helen Farris of Tahlequah, 2 grandsons; Brandan Foutch and wife Melissa & Blake Foutch and wife Mindy, 4 great-grandchildren; Lexie, Linzi, Wyatt & Bristol as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and longtime friends.
Casket bearers are Sherman Cheatham, Ronnie Foutch, Roger Graves, Brian Lewis, Mike Foster & Mike Salata.
Services by Dowdy Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Haskell First Assembly of God Church.
