Johnny's Story

Johnny "Mark" Humphrey died in his Webbers Falls home on December 17, 2017 and never gave up. He was 55 years and 364 days old. Mark was born December 18, 1961 at the Baptist Hospital in Muskogee, OK to Johnny and Martha (Hammons) Humphrey. He was a 1980 graduate of Muskogee High School. He attended Vo-tech in Muskogee and Okmulgee Tech. On July 23, 1983 Mark married the love of his life, LaGlennda Hacker. He resided in Muskogee County his entire life. He was employed 16 years at Vallourec as a threading machine operator and warehouse clerk. He stated numerous times he loved his job. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and collecting Coleman lanterns.
Mark is survived by his wife, LaGlennda; two daughters, Sarah and Lynn III Hubler of Warner, and Kristen and Matthew Chitty of Webbers Falls; three grandchildren, Wyatt Chitty, Ragan Hubler, and Clay Hubler; one sister, Pam and Bill Beck; Uncle Jimmy Humphrey, and Great Aunt Betty Humphrey; special brothers, Dale Sorrels, Joe Gonzales, and James Pilkington; his many nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Oleta Humphrey, WM. Troy and Gracie Hammons; and aunts, Jean Ada Humphrey, and Gail Laws.
Family to receive friends 6:00pm-8:00 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 and viewing will take place 9:00 am - 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
Services will be Friday, December 22nd at 11 am at the Bradley Belltower Chapel conducted by Ben Hale, interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery conducted by Buddy Little. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Wittmer, Curt Whittle, James Pilkington, Andy Horlick, Steve Turner, Ricky Allen, Mark Ellison, Jason Clark. Honorary pallbearers are Lynn Hubler III, Matthew Chitty, Wyatt Chitty, Clay Hubler, Randy Bennight, and Jimmy Humphrey.
