Jerry's Story

Jerry Don Roller, 45, of Muskogee, entered Heaven's gates Saturday evening, September 23,2017. He was born December 16, 1971 to Merle and Jean (Shockley) Roller in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He grew up and attended Hilldale Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1989. He continued his education and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah while studying computers. He worked with Steris for several years as a Computer Network Engineer.
On June 5, 1993, he married his best friend, Chellie Warner. Together they have celebrated more than 24 years of happy marriage and life together. Jerry was an active member of Grandview Baptist Church.
Jerry's passion was his family! Spending time with Chellie and his children was his priority. They loved traveling, doing projects together and making things on the 3-D printer. He had an amazing sense of humor and talent that made everyone laugh and have a good time together.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Chellie of the home; his children, Sierra, Madison and Gabriel Roller of Muskogee; parents, Merle and Jean Roller of Muskogee; sister, Donna (Roller) and Jack Morgan of Muskogee; brother, Charles Roller of Muskogee; numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 28,2017 at Grandview Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Mills officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Merle Roller, Charlie Roller, Justin Miller, Gabriel Roller, Sierra Roller and Madison Roller.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the T.D. Jakes Ministry, 'The Potter's House" in Jerry's honor.
Funeral services are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematory, 1830 N. York Street, Muskogee. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.cornerstoneofmuskogee.com.
