Jerry's Story

Gerhold (Jerry) Michael Alexander, 71, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 6, 2018. He was born November 30th, 1946, in Clark County, Wisconsin to Fred and Lydia (Burhop) Alexander.
Jerry grew up in Shafter, California and relocated to Muskogee, Oklahoma in the early 90's. He loved rebuilding old cars and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pat (Ford) Alexander; two daughters, Lisa (Brian) Jackson and Cindy Gaither; seven grandchildren, Jackie (Adam) McAdoo, Ashli Cloud, Mandi (Jesse Smittle) Cloud, Matthew Gaither, Candice (J) Samples, Drue Jackson and Wynter Jackson; nine great-grandchildren, Kylie Mapson, Aubrie and Lynlee Smittle, Brantley McAdoo, Lexi, Carly, JJ, and Joseph Samples, Kaden Stallings and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.
Jerry was a devoted family man and a good friend. He was respected by everyone who knew him. He always had a smile and will be greatly missed. His family takes comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in Heaven with his parents and his four brothers, Vern, Richard, Ronnie and Virgil Alexander.
The family would like to thank the staff of Emerald First Choice Hospice for the kind and loving care they gave to Jerry.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at God's Powerhouse Christian Center. Interment will follow in Starnes Cemetery.
Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
