James Billee Stone, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on March 8, 1961 to James Roy Stone and Nita Jo (Hulet) Stone.
Better known as Jimmy; in family circles, also known as "Boone"; will always be remembered as a happiness filled little guy growing into a self made caring adult who saw only the good in everyone he met. Jimmy's life was well spent; placing his family, especially his adored three children, Brandon James Stone, Alyson Elizabeth "Aly" Stone and James Wylee Stone, plus a brand new grandson Kaelem Quenzer, all of Wichita, Kansas, above all else. A persistent fisherman, was always after that "monster" bass and according to Jimmy, there was only one pro football team worthy of watching, "The Kansas City Chiefs".
Born in Wichita, Kansas, living there all his life, raising his family there, was always employed in the manufacturing processes at such large companies a Coleman Co., Cessna Aircraft and Spirit Aerospace Industries. You'll note, a twist in his middle name "Billee", is the combination of his two grandfathers first names, Bill and Lee.
Jimmie is survived by his parents, his children and grandson, plus sisters, Sherry Lynn Shipley of Oklahoma City, Okla., Tamara Kay Enderud of Newkirk, Okla.; Two brothers, Gregory Allen Stone of Disney, Okla., and Anthony James Stone of Arkansas City, Kansas. Too numerous to record are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends and relations.
Graveside services will be held at the Town Cemetery in Oktaha, Oklahoma on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Terry Fox will conduct services. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity or organization of your choice.
