James Farmer, 62,was promoted to Glory on this day Wednesday, January 24, 2018 in Muskogee OK. James was born on April 14, 1955 to Nim and Ether Farmer. He lived in Muskogee all his life and met his high school sweetheart Rose Marie Farmer in September 1972 and they got married married on June 6, 1976.
A bond servant of Jesus Christ and pastor to several good churches loved the Hymn and knew them by heart. So much that he preached in song and sang with a booming voice. Loved spending time with family, blood and church with the same. Kept an immaculate vehicle and always had a smile.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, John Farmer, 1964, and Dinnah Farmer, 1961 ,along with his parents Nim Farmer, 1987, and Ethel Farmer, 1989. He is survived by his wife Rose Marie Farmer of Muskogee OK, children David Farmer, of Muskogee, OK and Krista Myers-Dillon of Muskogee, OK, and son-in-law Frank Dillon of Muskogee, OK. Grandchildren Frank Dillon II of Lexington, SC, Cara Dillon of Lexington, SC, Laura Myers of Howe, TX, Rose Myers of Muskogee, OK and Robert Dillon of Muskogee, OK. Numerous nieces and nephews along with numerous great nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
The Memorial Service will be held on February 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Timothy Baptist Church on 5530 W. Okmulgee Ave in Muskogee, OK. There will be a family dinner following the memorial service at Timothy Baptist Church old building. Flowers fir the memorial service, send them to Timothy Baptist Church.
