Georgia Mae Williams, 84, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017. She was born March 4, 1933 in Muskogee County to James H Smith and Verdie Capps Smith.
She married Bob Williams in April of 1972. They shared many years of life and marriage together.
Georgia worked at Griffin's Grocery as a bookkeeper. She and Bob later owned grocery stores in Warner and Porum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Verdie Capps; husband, Bob; daughter, Cindy Shannon; brothers, Homer, Cecil, and Wayne Smith; sisters, Dorothy Mobley, Mildred Randall, and Sue Todd.
Georgia is survived by her sons, Larry White of Muskogee, John R Williams and wife Renate of Claremore; daughters, Linda Dotson and husband Larry of Tahlequah, Penny Thompson and husband Don of Owasso; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Kelli, Barry, Tory, Eric, Sean, Megan, Dalton, Trace, Joshua, Jonica, Jessica, Ruth, Robert, and Tyler; 22 great-grandchildren, brother, J.C. Smith and wife Bonnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was loved by many will be truly missed.
Graveside services celebrating Georgia's life will be 2PM, Monday, November 13, 2017 at Park Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steven Todd officiating.
