Earlene Elsie Brewster Earlene Elsie (Reece) Brewster was born April 6th, 1933 in De Soto, Missouri to Joe and Minnie Reece. She was the 5th of six children and the second girl. When she was three years old, the family moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma where she lived until she finished Junior High. She then moved to Oklahoma City with her sister Francis where she graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1951.
While she was in high school in OKC, she was a member of the Salvation Army Corp Cadets where she played the coronet in the band and participated in street meetings. While she was soliciting donations for the Salvation Army from local businesses, she met her husband Robert Brewster. They were married March 15th, 1951. Over the years they lived in several states and cities and had 4 children before finally settling into the town of Braggs, OK in 1970.
Earlene enjoyed birdwatching, tending her flowers, working in her garden and cooking pies and jellies. She really loved people and was consistently active in church. Her house was constantly open, and she was always ready to play games and sit and visit. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and her life's desire was to live eternally in Heaven with Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Lawrence Reece, Francis Siebold, Leroy Reece and Ronnie Reece, her son Bobby Brewster and daughter Valenda Huggins.
Earlene is survived by her husband Robert Brewster of Braggs, son Steve Brewster of Braggs and wife Cathy, son Ronnie Brewster of Bartlesville, OK and wife Angie, son-in-law Harley Huggins of Warner, OK, brother Billy Joe Reece of Muskogee, OK, nine grandchildren,13 great grandchildren, a large extended family and numerous friends.
