Donald Killingsworth, Muskogee resident, died Sunday October 29, 2017 in Muskogee. He was 83 years of age.
He was born November 13, 1933 in Pierce, Oklahoma the son of Earl and Pauline (Lankford) Killingsworth. He was a graduate of Checotah High School. Following graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Navy with 30 years of service in 1978. He was married to Burnis Baskins on May 7, 1977 in Braggs, OK.
He enjoyed fishing and camping. Donald was the one who kept the family in touch with each other. He was a man who never met a stranger and would help anyone in need.
Survivors include his children, Dennis Killingsworth and wife Lynn of Muskogee and Kathy Dion of Red Bluff, CA; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one son Michael.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday November 2, 2017 at the Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with the Re. Bill Crow officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
