Debra Lynn Ford-Macomb, age 59, born on May 6th 1957 to David and Patti Ford, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 24, 2016. She attended Muskogee Public Schools, she enjoyed performing in the all school musicals, cheerleading, and flag team. She then graduated with the MHS class of 1975. Debby began a career in banking, where she was employed among several different banking institutions. In 1986 Debby married the love of her life, Michael Wayne Macomb. They instantly became soul mates and have shared over 30 years of happy marriage and life together. They were then blessed with a daughter and a son and later her life was fulfilled with all her grandchildren. In 1996, Debbie and Michael became proud owners of Macomb Heating and Air, together they enjoyed watching their business grow. For years, Debby was an active member at First Assembly of God in Muskogee where she enjoyed performing in the church musicals, singing in the church choir, and sharing her love of Jesus.
Debby was preceded in death by her father, David Ford; sister, Kathy Ford-Manning; and precious Bambaw, Irene Watts.
Those left to cherish her memories include husband, Michael Wayne Macomb; daughter, Ashley Macomb and her children Brelynn, Audrey, and Cayden all of Muskogee; son, Michael Wayne Macomb II of Muskogee; daughter, Katy Graham and husband Sean and children Kylie, Kara, Kelsey, Jayden, and Camden all of Broken Arrow; sister, Terri Simmons and husband Cruce of Muskogee; Father and mother-in-law Rev. Jack and Maxine Macomb of Muskogee; sisters-in-law Jackie Frock of Oklahoma City, Julie Macomb of Muskogee, and Melissa Welsby and husband Alan of Prescot, England; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Services celebrating Debby's life will be at 2 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Eastside Community Church of Muskogee with Pastor Gary Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery with Tyler Fortney, Jeremy Fortney, Camerin James, Corey Keifer, Colby Mullens, Tanner Mullens, and Hunter Mullens serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cruce Simmons, Terry Mullens, Austin Mullens, Michael Macomb II, and J.R. Fortney.
