Deborah Ann Young, 57 of Muskogee, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was born May 31, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to James Lutjen Austin and Mildred Ann Watkins Hatley. She attended Muskogee Public School and ICTC.
Deborah married her best friend, Larry Young, on July 27, 1999 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They share more than 18 years of life and marriage together.
She worked for Eastgate Village Healthcare Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
Deborah enjoyed listening to music and loved working in her flower garden; enjoying every color and uniqueness of God's creation. If she was not in her flower beds working, you might find her and Larry riding around in the golf cart. She was all about the family pictures on her phone and was passionate about her family.
Deborah was proud of her faith and was member of New Hope Assembly of God Church.
She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her dad, James Lutjen Austin Sr; brother, James Lutjen Austin Jr; grandparents, Finis and Emma Watkins, Ed and Nellie Lutjen (Austin).
Deborah is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Chrystal Quick (Donny), Cindy James (Ronnie), Cassie Coppin (Brandon); and Lacey Moran (Jeremy); mother, Mildred Hatley; sister, Lee Ann Cordell (Mike); brothers, David Austin (Laura), Darien Austin (Angie); grandchildren, Kirstin Brown Alvarez, Bradley Alvarez, Taylor Alvarez, Hailey James, Hunter James, Bree James, Ronald James Jr, Shae Coppin, Dusty Coppin, Ryder Satterfield, Carter Satterfield, and Josie Moran; great-granddaughter, Carlie Craft; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
Funeral services celebrating Deborah's life will be 1PM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at New Hope Assembly of God Church with Pastor John Overton and Rev. Adrian Totty officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Greg Allen, Darien Austin, John Cowan, Rodney Austin, and Jeremy Moran serving as pallbearers.
