Charles's Story

Charles Dean Weaver, 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma entered his Heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was born January 8, 1936 in Muskogee to Alfred and Lois Weaver. He attended public schools and graduated in 1954 from Oktaha High School.
Charles worked for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier and later as a supervisor. He retired after 30 years of service.
He married Joanne Ruth in 1978. They shared more than 36 years of life together when she passed in December of 2014.
Charles was a member of the Joy Class at Southeast Baptist Church where he faithfully served. He enjoyed playing golf and being with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; his daughters, Lois Dean Weaver and Patsy Weaver Arnold.
Charles is survived by his children, Dauna Howard and husband Randy of Muskogee, Cindy Mancuso and husband Mark of Houston, TX and Michael Weaver of Muskogee; stepson, Robert Grandstaff of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Adam Howard, Rachael West, Robin Howard, Justin Arnold, Stephanie Lenington, Chris Lee, Becky Mery, Kathy Spruill, Payton Weaver, and McKenzie Weaver; 15 great grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.
The family would like to express a very special "Thank You" to his special friends, Benny Ross, Joe Hathcoat, and all friends who graciously transported Charles to his doctor visits and visits during his hospital stays.
A memorial service celebrating Charles's life will be 2PM, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Southeast Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Murray officiating.
