Carolyn Sue Mullins, 75, of Warner, Oklahoma passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. She was born November 3, 1942 to Bill and Ina (Morgan) Hales in Warner, Oklahoma. Carolyn graduated from Warner High School. She married Bill Mullins on March 5, 1960 in Warner, Oklahoma.
Carolyn worked at Connors State College for several years in the bookstore. She was a housewife for the majority of her life and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of Warner First Baptist Church for several years and she was involved in many church activities. Carolyn will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Mullins; parents, Bill and Ina Hales; and sister, Linda Hales.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Ronelle Baker and husband Scott of Pinehollow, OK, and Renee Garvin and husband Gary of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Lacey Barnes and husband Shannon of Muskogee, OK, Justin Baker of Sasabo, Japan, and Cody Baker of Pinehollow, OK; great-grandchild, Abby Messer of Muskogee, OK; sisters, Billie Lewis of Okay, OK and Jackie Shanks of Webbers Falls, OK; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to express a very special "Thank You" to Jeanie Barton, Gladys Garner and the staff at Good Shepherd Hospice for taking such great care of Carolyn.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn's family has requested memorials be made to Warner First Baptist Church P.O. 250 Warner, OK 74469.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Warner First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Warner Memorial Cemetery with Chuck Smithson, Jeff Mullins, Rusty Mullins, Rudy Mullins, Randy Mullins, Bryan Cook, Terry Cook, Gary Cook, Johnny Lewis and Steven Shanks serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Keihm, Tim Butler, John Moore, Jerry Hiseley, Charlie McGrew, Richard Edgar, Ronnie Ellis, Boe Mullins, Bill Whitmire and Gerald Parsons.
