Branda Faye Schuessler, 63, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born March 23, 1954 in Knoxville, Tennessee to John Elmer Winter and Elizabeth Frances (Faine) Winter. She graduated from public school and furthered her education obtaining her Associates Degree.
Branda met and later married Carl Herman Schuessler on May 21, 1977 in Malvern, Arkansas. They enjoyed over 39 years of love, friendship and marriage together when Carl passed on April 12, 2017.
She worked for Southwestern Bell as a Customer Service Rep and retired on March 21, 1999 after many years of service.
Branda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; mother, Elizabeth; father, John; sister, Vicki Nail; brother, John Elmer Winter Jr; and step-mother, Willie Childress.
She is survived by her sons, James Bryson and wife Holly of Muskogee, Karl Schuessler and wife Devan of Moore; daughter, Jennifer Cartwright; grandchildren, Gerimiah, Logan, Hannah, Jasmine, Chris, April, Wyatt, Morgen, and Xavier; sisters, Debbie Pack and husband Ulan and family, JonAnn Esponge and husband Eric and family, Kathryn Crutchfield and husband Steve and family, Donni Jean Cook and husband Dennis and family, Shelli Church and family, Norma Betts and her family; brother, John Edwards and family; along with many friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service celebrating Branda's life will be 11AM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Echols officiating.
