Bobby Ray Weatherford

Bob Weatherford passed in peace on Sunday August 4, 2019 at the age of 90 surrounded by his family. Mr. Weatherford was born November 28, 1928 in Webbers Falls, OK the son of C.L. and Della (Riggs) Weatherford.

He attended school in Webbers Falls and married Frances Easley on August 26, 1950. They were married for 63 years. Bob worked for Muskogee County District #2 as a grader operator for 43 years until his retirement in July 2018. Bob loved and cherished his family, enjoyed bird hunting, horseback riding and traveling.

Surviving are his two daughters, Francine Wofford of Corpus Christie, TX and Arna Faye Wingo of Checotah, OK; grandchildren Rusty George (Shirlene), Dusty George (Kristie Been), Jesse Wofford, Jade Wofford (Candace), Nathan Wingo (Taylor) and Deona Monroe (Eric); great-grandchildren Ryan Maxwell, Amanda Jackson, Eric Walter, Ashton Been, and Jace Wofford; nine great-great grandchildren; two brothers Richard Weatherford (Pauline) and Frank Weatherford (Ivalee) and two sisters Betty Clay and Charlene Henderson (Archie). Preceding him in death are the love of his life, Frances (Easley) Weatherford, his parents C.L. and Della (Riggs) Weatherford, two sisters Adalie Roberson and Yvonne Glover and one brother James Weatherford.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday August 7, 2019 at the Warner Assembly of God in Warner, OK. Interment will follow in the Warner Memorial Cemetery under the care and direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
