Bobby Joe Reynolds, of Muskogee, also known as "B.J." passed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the age of 74, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born in Howe, Texas on April 2, 1943 to Robert M. Reynolds and Evelyn L. (Gentry) Reynolds. He was a high school graduate of Denison, TX. B. J. started working for the Pillsbury company in Denison, TX until he was drafted in the U. S. Army. He served and was a medic in Vietnam, he was discharged in 1967. He then returned to his job at Pillsbury, which they held for him, working for a total of 13 years. B.J. also worked for the City of Garland, TX as a Maintenance Supervisor, for four years and was recognized and awarded as Employee of the Year. B.J. married Marium (Richison) Reynolds in Rockwall, TX on November 30, 1982. They lived in Garland, TX for a while and he was a Supervisor contracted with the Unifelt Corp. He and Marium would travel together on some of his jobs. He also supervised and contracted jobs through Sunoco Oil company in Tulsa. He and Marium have made their home in the Muskogee community for the past four years. B.J. enjoyed auto sports and races, was a good mechanic and an avid football fan. He was a loving man, very happy and had a witty personality, he will be missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister and brother in law, Kaye and Emory Pettry.
B.J. is survived by his loving wife, Marium, two sons; Roby Reynolds and wife, Stacie of New Braufels, TX, and Donny Reynolds and wife, Crystal of Pasadena, TX, one daughter, Michele McDaniel and husband, Toby of Houston, TX, brother, Larry G. Reynolds and wife, Rosanne of Pagosa Springs, CO and one sister Judy Bilbee and husband, Phil of Nipomo, CA. Along with eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the All Nations Mission Center in Muskogee, with Reverend Jerry Dry. A private burial will be held at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation were under the care of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory, Wagoner, OK.
