Bobby Dean Frazier, 84, of Muskogee Oklahoma passed away in his home, Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born September 13, 1932 to Thaddeus "Ted" Garland and Vera (Brown) Frazier in Council Hill, Oklahoma.
He joined the United States Navy in 1952 where he served in the Korean War, later receiving an honorable discharge in September of 1956. Bobby then returned home to further his education and earned a bachelor's degree.
He married Joyce Stevens and enjoyed 26 happy years of marriage and life together prior to her passing in 1982.
Bobby began working for SRS Seeds in 1959 in Modesto, California, which later became known as Moran Seeds Inc. He had a passion and dedication for his work which lead him to become Vice President of Production and Quality Control. After 40 years, he retired in 1999 and moved from Modesto, California to Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Following Joyce's death, he met the final love of his life, Betty Frazier, whom he was married to for 31 years.
He had several hobbies, he was an avid gardener, loved to golf, cook, watching sports of all kinds, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus Garland and Vera Fay (Brown) Frazier; son, Thomas G. Frazier; daughter Cindy Frazier; and sisters, Juanita (Frazier) Elam, Barbara Aileen (Frazier) Overturf, and Shirley Lou (Frazier) Rhinehart.
He is survived by his loving wife, of the home, Betty; his children, Delora K. (Frazier) "Haggard, Steven D. Frazier, Robert L. Frazier, Pamela (Frazier) Williams, Lori Turner, and Michael Griffin; brothers, Eugene Ray Frazier, Thaddeus Garland Frazier Jr, Loyd Ralph Frazier; sisters, Alice Ruth (Frazier) Hanson and Linda Sue (Frazier) Dawson; along with 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many friends that will miss him dearly.
The family will receive visitors 5:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Council Hill Cemetery with Reverend Donnie Echols officiating.
