Billie Kathern Crow was welcomed into the world on July 31, 1940 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma to her parents Clarence M. and Myrtle Blackwell. She lived for seventy-seven years before being called home to eternity on Monday, November 13, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home in Wagoner. Billie was united in marriage with the love of her life Gary R. Crow on June 24, 1960 in Tulsa at Carbondale Assembly of God. A few of her hobbies were traveling, family vacations and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Billie served as a Blue Bird Leader, 4-H leader and cheer coach. She was known by many as the fill in mom and "Mimi." She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved to spend time with her family and take care of them. While Billie was able, she and Gary attended Christian Chapel Church in Muskogee where they served as door greeters for many years. She loved God and was grateful for the life with which she was blessed. Billie was a 15 year survivor of breast cancer and had lived with Parkinson's Disease for the past several years. Billie retired from OSU Extension Service where she served as NE District Executive Secretary.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Myrtle Blackwell, one brother Clarence "Mac" Blackwell and one infant sister Joyce Ann. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of the home Gary Crow, one son Robert "Bobby" McClain Crow and his spouse Jimmy Winkle of Tulsa, daughters Joyce Ann Baker and her husband Raymond of Okay and Gayla Kae Crow of Fayetteville, Arkansas, two special daughters Christine and Christy Lynn , three sisters Jeanette Scott and her husband Dan of Coweta, Sue Ford and her husband Paul, Ida Brown and husband Gary, and one sister-in-law, Sondia Blackwell of Locust Grove, eight grandchildren, four great- grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and countless other friends who will miss her dearly.
